Outdoor Musical Equipment
Music has accompanied humankind from the dawn of history. It is part of our daily lives and experiences and has the power to add a new dimension to each occasion in which it is heard. The interaction between players and instruments across the park creates a diverse musical conversation and an empowering experience of public music making.
Our musical instruments are specifically designed, built and tuned so that the ‘musician’ cannot play out of tune or produce irritating sounds, only sounds that are pleasant to hear. Wall mount and toddler versions are available for some models.
Marimba
The Marimba is originally from Africa. Every note on the marimba has its own sound box, and each sound box strengthens the sound produced by the note. Our Marimba is easy to create harmonies to well-known tunes or make music by randomly hitting the notes. The Marimba has another version which can be hung on a wall.
Lyre
The Lyre is an instrument with roots deep in the past. It was invented in ancient times and linked to ancient stories and cultures. This is a percussion instrument tuned to the western scale.
Metallophone
The Metallophone is a magical and inviting percussion instrument. Our metallophone has 15 notes comprising two octaves. It is easy to create harmonies to well known tunes or to make music by randomly hitting the notes.
Melody Steel Drum
While a traditional drum produces beats, this drum produces notes similar to a steel drum. The drum itself serves as a sound box and so its sounds are deep and continuous. Drum gently and quickly on the ‘tongues’ and produce harmonious melodies.
Gong
A loud sound element, Bang with bare hands on each note, and each tuning fork represents another note, together creating a line of notes making a rich harmony.
Xylophone
The Xylophone has a deep sound and a natural texture reminiscent of the sounds of the forest and songs of the trees. Easy to create harmonies to well known tunes or by randomly hitting the notes.
Street Organ
The Street Organ is a chromatic and totally professional instrument. It is tuned with gaps of half-notes and made accessible in a piano-like form. Using chromatic instruments, one can play every possible scale and song.
Musical Flowers
On the artist’s color palette, each color generates another sound on the scale, and together all the colors create a wonderful harmony and a beautiful rainbow of colors
Mushroom Bells
The Mushroom Bells are basb bells, with each mushroom having a different circumference and sounding a different note. Simple to operate, complementing the look of a musical park with its colors and notes.
Cajon
The Cajon originates in Latin America. The meaning of the word in Spanish is “box” or “drawer.” The player sits on the cajon and plays with bare hands. Each side produces a different sound, while inside it has a special mechanism that creates a distortion and makes the sound ‘rustle.’
Double Metallophone
The Double Metallophone offers both visual and acoustic performances. The structure simulates repetition of waves spread over more than three meters and can be played from both sides. Suitable for four players to play simultaneously.
3-Octave Xylophone
The 3-Octave Xylophone has 22 notes which are three octaves. The range of sounds is mesmerizing – from soft deep sounds to sharp and high sounds. Suitable for two people playing at once.
Drums
The Drum is the oldest instrument known to humans. It is the most intuitive instrument and the simplest to use. The drums supply the beat for every celebration
Musical Sign
The Musical Sign is designed to make learning and playing well known songs easy for those who can’t read music, and does so by presenting each note as a color. Around the park – on the instruments and the musical signage – the notes are always represented by the same colors: Do – purple, Re – blue, Mi – green, Fa- yellow, So – orange, La – red, Ti – pink. By following and hitting according to the instructions on the sign, everyone can play well-known songs. There is an option of making a particular song available at clients request. Some restrictions apply.
Outdoor musical equipment is a beautiful and versatile addition to any space. Expertly crafted and designed, these instruments produce harmonious sounds that anyone can enjoy. Whether you play solo or with others, you can experience the joy of making music without any prior skills.
